Every tutor at MEB is evaluated on three non-negotiable qualities before being assigned to any student. These are not marketing words. They are the actual criteria used in our hiring tests and ongoing performance reviews.
1. Subject Knowledge
A tutor must be able to solve any question in their subject from first principles — without consulting a textbook. Subject knowledge takes years to develop and cannot be trained quickly. If a tutor does not have it, we do not hire them, regardless of anything else on their profile.
2. Speed
Your time is money. A tutor who takes 30 minutes to solve what should take 10 minutes is costing you more than just fees. Speed comes from experience and deep familiarity with problems. We evaluate and track every tutor’s problem-solving speed as part of their ongoing performance review.
3. Accuracy
In our experience, accuracy is primarily an attitude issue, not a knowledge issue. Our tutors are trained to verify their work at every step, not just at the end. A second review pass is standard before any solution or session note is delivered to you.
Our Tutors Come From Top Universities
Most of our tutors hold degrees from IITs, NITs, and equivalent top-tier institutions globally. This is not because we filter by college name — we give every applicant an equal chance. It is because our written tests and practical problem-solving interviews are demanding, and the candidates who consistently pass them come from strong academic backgrounds.

If you find a tutor’s accent difficult to follow, tell us. We will assign a different tutor immediately and will not charge you for the session where the accent was an issue.

We are transparent about the situations where our accuracy guarantee does not apply, because honesty about limitations is part of what makes the guarantee credible:
- The question provided contained errors or missing information that made it impossible to solve correctly
- Our solution was correct, but the professor’s preferred method differed and they deducted marks accordingly
- Our solution was correct, but the institution’s answer key was wrong
- The deadline was too short for our standard review process, and the student was informed before we proceeded
- The student copied the solution incorrectly from what we provided
- The student shared session materials with another student and both received academic penalties as a result
