Are you struggling with your homework and need help? Have you already asked your friends for referrals, and they are too afraid to share their expert contact info due to fear of plagiarism? Let us explore how to Search Online For The Best Expert for Homework Help.

Based on my decades of experience dealing with close to 1000 homework helpers and expert tutors, here are my pro suggestions.

Best platforms to Search Online For The Best Expert for Homework Help

1. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is an authentic source for finding an expert tutor for your homework. Here, you can get plenty of subject matter experts who are not just tutors and homework helpers but also have full-time jobs. You can filter the tutors based on their industry, companies they previously worked with, subject, education, and so on.

On the LinkedIn free plan, you have limited search results and people browsing capability, and you may have to buy a premium subscription to speed up your search. Alternatively, search for the keyword in Google first and get to the right expert’s profile. Although not as good as the native LinkedIn search capability, it will save you lots of time.

2. YouTube

It is another great place to find excellent homework helpers. One plus point of YouTube is the almost negligible chance of getting scammed. Making videos is hard, and a scammer will never show their face for scamming you. You can also get an idea of how confident and knowledgeable the expert is in their subject, saving you tons of time talking to the wrong expert.

3. Teacheron

It is a very useful website where you can find homework helpers for almost any subject. There are many fake profiles, too, so please read my article “How to avoid Scammers?”

4. Other social media platforms

You may also try your luck on Fiverr, Upwork, Reddit, or Quora.

Tips for searching for homework help experts online

Contact many experts

I would suggest selecting at least 10 profiles and sending connection requests to them. Not everyone is active; hence, you might start hearing from them within 1-2 hours. Within 24 hours, you will get 3-4 tutors talking to you.

Have excellent Education

The expert must be from a top university. It is hard to get into the top universities. So, the chances are high that the expert who studied in these top universities/colleges is really good and can deliver quality help.

Plenty of Experience

Prior experience working with tutoring and assignment help companies like Chegg, Coursehero, Bartleby, Wyzant, etc., is a big bonus. They will know what exactly you want as they have already helped plenty of students like you.

Avoid mediators

If you are not connecting directly with the expert, you will overpay, have less control over the results, and the results will likely be bad. So I advise you to find direct experts and not a mediator who says he has a team of friends, etc.

Signs you have found the right expert for your homework

No matter which online platform you choose for finding the right expert for your homework, some common tips below will help you make a better choice.

After you shortlisted some tutors, it is time to dig deeper. Getting the leads is only half the job done.

Do not take whatever they write in their profile at face value. Chat with them on WhatsApp. Have a video call with them, even if it is for 2 minutes, it will give you a very clear idea about the expert and if you can trust them for your essential homework. Here are the Signs you have found the right expert for your homework

  1. They sound confident: Now, this is not something I can explain much, but if you are happy after talking to an expert and feel that the person is knowledgeable and genuine, trust your instincts. However, check the other factors discussed below before making a deal.
  2. You need to explain them less: A real expert will know what to do based on your information. They may ask questions and formulate strategies, but you are not taking the lead. It is the expert who is taking the lead during the conversation. However, if you must explain a lot, even the most obvious things, save time and move to the next expert.
  3. The expert is talking about your assignment and not only about the fee: If the expert whom you have contacted is asking questions about your assignment and explaining what needs to be done, etc., on their own, it’s a sure sign they are a real expert. They even talk about strategies for doing your assignment. Someone who knows how to do your assignment will ask questions to understand the requirements. However, avoid them if the expert is only interested in discussing the fee!
  4. Fee quotation is quick: A quick fee quotation is a sign that the expert knows what they must deliver and how much effort is required. A delay in fee quotation usually means the expert is unsure about the work, so they might need more time to quote the fee.
  5. Quick confirmation: If the homework help tutor says, “I will get back to you tomorrow” or something similar, but still responds to your messages quickly, it means they have free time but don’t know exactly what to do or, worse still, how to do your homework. Those who know what to do and how to do it are confident they will do it well. Hence, they will not waste your time and confirm quickly if they can help. Avoid those who are taking forever to confirm.
  6. Do not say yes to everything: A real expert does not know everything. They know few subjects/skills, but whatever they see, they know it well. Expertise in any field requires a lot of time and dedication, and it is simply impossible to master more than 1-2 subjects or skills. I remember a mediocre expert who joined us 3 years ago, who always used to say yes to all the work, be it physics, civil engineering, or even essay writing! He was a very good communicator, and we believed whatever he said. We assigned him a lot of work, and when a student started complaining, we terminated him from My Engineering Buddy. A very bitter lesson was learned.
  7. Value their (and your) time: Joining a meeting on time and listening to your requirements carefully are signs the expert will deliver a good result.
  8. Not willing to negotiate much: A good expert tutor will have many repeat students and their friends. Hence, they are not afraid to say no, if your offer is less. They know how good they are and are confident they can get more students quickly. Also, they know the exact value of your assignment, so they quote reasonable fees and do not reduce the fee much.

How to avoid Scammers?

Avoid profiles without a real Photo

Any expert tutor serious about building a student base for long-term homework help business will put their real photo at the bare minimum.

Choose detailed profiles only

Use an advanced tool like originality.ai to check if a human or an AI writes the profile. I would not suggest using any other tool for this purpose, as they are inaccurate. The idea is not to judge the quality but the effort. If a human writes a profile that is still detailed, chances are the person is not a scammer.

Ask for solutions to sample questions

Ask the expert to solve a sample question you already have the answer to. It will help you avoid scammers, as they might be unable to do it themselves or with someone else’s help. Remember, they are scammers. Why would they build connections with real tutors just for demo and sample question-solving?

Specific details of education and experiences, along with valid dates, are there

If someone is making up a profile, they usually do not provide exact details, such as the name of the college, the name of their hostel, etc. If they mention all the details, chances are they are real and not a scammer.

Choose experts with a solid online presence

A scammer will never spend time fine-tuning their profile and making it stand out. Also, they will have very few connections/subscribers/friends, etc. The reason is simple. They must create a new profile every few days to scam more students. They just can not put effort into getting a lot of reviews or providing their photos, videos, etc, in their profile. Ask for their social media profiles, especially LinkedIn. If they don’t have many connections on LinkedIn (anything less than 50 is very risky), likely they are not genuine.

If you see inconsistency in their Name, Photo, Qualification, and Subjects offered across different social media platforms, bank details, PayPal account, website, etc, be careful.

Have a video call over WhatsApp, Google Meet, zoom, etc.

If their Photo and name do not match or if they are saying that the profile is of their friend, brother, etc., stay away! Their social media profile NAME does not match their real name, or you may be dealing with a scammer if there is inconsistency in the names.

Money, money, money

Scammers want your money. It will be evident during their conversations. If you feel the expert is only interested in money, avoid them and move to the next expert on your list.

They may also be rushing you to make the payment instead of focussing on helping you.

Their offer is too good to be true

I know you are seeking the best expert at the lowest possible fee. But do you really think someone, a real expert, will charge so tiny that they can not even feed themselves and their family? You must be alert if an offer is too good to be true. Do not fall into a trap and mess up your grades.

They are avoiding PayPal/Credit card payments

PayPal and Credit cards provide chargeback features to deal with scammers. If your chosen homework expert tutor is not willing to accept money via PayPal, chances are high they are scammers. I suggest you do not pay an unknown expert via bank transfer, Western Union, etc.
