Student’s Reviews: Modern Physics

A site that has good Modern Physics tutors at last

I tried 5+ online tutoring sites before selecting MEB. Getting a good tutor for this subject is like searching for a fish in the ocean. The tutor assigned knew the subject very well. I learned a lot.

Last moment homework help

My homework was due in 2 hours when I realized I wouldn’t be able to solve it on my own. Google search suggested that I should try MEB, and I did. I got an A+ in my Modern Physics homework. Very affordable too.

Much better than the Modern Physics tutors near me

The tutors near me cost $65 per hour, which is insanely high for me. MEB’s online tutoring service costs $25/hour only for the same quality as my local tutors. Extremely affordable and value-for-money services.

If you are searching for an excellent Modern Physics tutor, you are at the right place.

About Modern Physics

What is Modern Physics?

Modern Physics is the Physics of the most recently discovered phenomena in Physics like Quantum mechanics, Special relativity, General relativity, etc.

How is Modern Physics different from Classical Physics?

Modern Physics comes into the picture when the

  • Speed is too high (comparable to the speed of light): Special Relativity
  • Size is too small (in the order of atomic distances): Quantum Mechanics
  • Size is too small, and the speed is too high: Quantum Field Theory
  • The gravitational effect at the celestial level: General Relativity

Even at slower speeds and medium-sized objects, these laws work, but the effect is so small that we can ignore them.

Classical Physics deals with objects that move much slower than the speed of light and are neither too small nor too big.

Why is Modern Physics hard?

Modern Physics is hard. Here are the reasons:

  • We can not relate it to our everyday life

At a smaller level, things behave differently, unlike what we encounter every day. Getting a ‘feel’ of quantum mechanics is impossible as there is nothing in our life we can relate to.

  • Advanced level math is used

We need higher-order differential equations (ODE, PDE), advanced linear algebra, and difficult-to-integrate functions.

Why do we study Modern Physics?

Studying a challenging subject like Modern Physics develops advanced reasoning and complex problem-solving skills. Hence, even if you do not become an educator or a scientist, you can apply these skills to any task that you do in the future.

We can find a parallel if we compare it with working out in a gym. In everyday life, you may not use the same exercises you do in the gym. However, going gym develops stamina and muscles that help with any ‘physical’ thing that we do.

Career opportunities in Modern Physics

  • Become a Scientist or an educator (Professor, Researcher, etc.)
  • Specialization in Advanced Materials, Particle physics, Biophysics, Quantum computing, Cosmology, Nuclear Science, Astrophysics, etc.

Do I need a tutor in Modern Physics?

Modern Physics can be challenging for those who like to relate every concept to real life. Because in modern physics, there is hardly anything you can relate to from our everyday observation, making it somewhat challenging to learn on your own.

If you need a private tutor who can do your homework or provide online tutoring sessions, feel free to WhatsApp us anytime.
