About S Kumar

I majored in Electronics and have dedicated my career to the art and science of teaching engineering. I have been fortunate to work with some of the most prestigious institutions and to witness firsthand the transformation of raw ideas into tangible projects. With a blend of research, real-world application, and academic excellence, my approach is both methodical and innovative. I hold a PhD from IIT Bombay and am currently pursuing a Post doc at IISc Bangalore, an experience that has enriched my understanding of advanced electronics and fostered a love for lifelong learning. Over the years, I have mentored over 1000 hardware projects and delivered countless online projects and assignments that have solidified my expertise in subjects such as VLSI design, computer architecture, and embedded programming. I recall an early moment in my career when I labored over a complex simulation of a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) using Cadence Virtuoso—a challenge that not only tested my resilience but also deepened my passion for electronics. My teaching style is centered around clarity and practical problem solving, ensuring that every student not only grasps theoretical concepts but also gains the confidence to tackle practical challenges with creativity and precision.

S Kumar's Reviews

  • Good expertise but frustrating scheduling

" I got homework help for electrical engineering assignments from tutor S Kumar. I’m G. Leblanc’s mother, and I reached out via WhatsApp for specific problem solutions. The trial session was free, but the scheduling kept shifting at the last minute. Solutions were emailed, but occasionally they arrived late, causing extra stress for my son. The tutor really knows his stuff, yet the inconsistent timing was frustrating. I’m not sure I’d recommend them. "

  • Good tech setup, but too pricey without discounts

" Signed up for bio tutoring via Google Meet. It’s fine tech-wise and works on any device. But the hourly rates burned a hole in my pocket, and there’s no budget plan. Customer care was cool, but I needed some financial aid—they should offer support for students on tighter budgets. Overall, I can’t recommend the company. "

  • Decent Help, but I’m Unsure to Fully Recommend

" Hello everyone, I reached out to My EngineeringBuddy when my daughter was struggling to complete her control systems homework because of heavy family responsibilities. As her parent, I appreciated how quickly they matched us with a tutor and the transparent trial process. The sessions over Google Meet went fine, but the sad truth is I can’t fully recommend them. "

  • Frustrated by Fees and Deadlines, but Tutor Is Thorough

" Honestly, I’m furious about the overhead charges and last-minute homework deadlines. When my daughter Kendall Young had too many assignments, their response was slow and the extra fees were steep. As her mother, I expected quicker matching and clearer pricing. They really should offer discounts for regular students. On the upside, the tutor is meticulously detail-oriented. "

  • Frustrating Cell Bio Sessions, But Easy Fees Process

" S Konar really drags through cell biology’s twisted, complex theories like he’s lost or sumthin. Our kid hit him up for online tutoring and ended up dozing off while he just rambled. They sort fees via WhatsApp—no login junk or complicated portals. Oh, and they even toss in a free AI writing tool. "

  • Promised Tailored Help Fell Short

" The homework help claimed to be tailored, yet they missed crucial details and Rylan was dissatisfied. I’m his aunt and I arranged the sessions through WhatsApp. They matched him with S. Kumar in Electrical Engineering, but communication was spotty. He has a part-time job and needed clear solutions fast, yet the responses often came late or were incomplete. The trial fee was low, but the actual rate felt really overpriced. "

  • Frustrating experience with impersonal, outdated tutoring

" I’m really frustrated with the whole process. I reached out via WhatsApp for online mechanical engineering tutoring, paid the trial fee, and got connected with S Konar. The sessions were choppy and felt impersonal. They hide tutor profiles behind a paywall, and some lessons seemed outdated. They should keep their tutors up to date with current educational standards... His life improved. "

  • Frustrating experience with slow responses and rushed sessions

" I’m K’s father and I’ve never been this frustrated before. K was drowning in complex nanotechnology assignments until he tried homework help with S Konar. Communication was slow at first—messages would sometimes take hours to be answered. The Google Meet sessions felt rushed and confusing, and the final solutions showed up late on WhatsApp. The fees aren’t cheap either. Overall, the help felt sketchy, and K still doesn’t understand the material much better now. "

  • Good Intentions but Rushed and Unclear

" The 1:1 tutoring did offer tailored explanations, but J Kelley struggled with language barriers and left a lot of concepts unclear. I’m her cousin, and seeing her frustration grow over technical terms made me uneasy about My EngineeringBuddy’s approach. Booking via WhatsApp was straightforward, yet the tutor’s pacing felt rushed. They should add regular workshops on study skills, time management, and exam prep techniques. I can’t fully recommend them. "

  • Great Expertise but Unreliable Scheduling

" M Hardik really knows his astrophysics, but he struggled to meet deadlines for my daughter’s writing assignments. We reached out to MEB for homework help when her procrastination had stalled her progress, but our sessions over Google Meet were often rescheduled without warning, and the solutions arrived late via WhatsApp. Considering the confusion, the hourly fee felt steep. They should work on taking timely feedback from both students and parents to keep things on track. "
